The 340-unit community will be developed on approximately 25 acres directly off Nashville Pike near State Route 386, offering residents convenient access to major employment centers throughout Sumner County and the greater Nashville metro. Thompson Thrift expects to begin welcoming residents in November 2027.
“Strong population growth and continued investment across Sumner County make Gallatin an attractive market for multifamily development,” said Josh Purvis, managing partner for Thompson Thrift Residential. “The Statesman is positioned to meet growing demand with a thoughtfully designed community that offers residents an exceptional living experience.”
Designed with a modern aesthetic, The Statesman will feature a mix of three-story, garden-style classic buildings and two-story select buildings with private entrances. Residents will be able to select from a variety of one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts with spacious floor plans and premium interior finishes. Apartment homes will include granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, hardwood-style flooring, full-size washers and dryers, large walk-in closets, smart-home technology, and patio, balcony or private yard options. Detached garages and an Amazon package hub will also be available.
Community amenities are designed to encourage connection and an active lifestyle and will include a resort-style heated swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center with 24-hour access, pickleball court, thoughtfully designed courtyards, social and focus suites, billiards and shuffleboard, outdoor firepit and grilling areas, and a dog park with pet spa.
Strategically located in one of the fastest-growing areas of the Nashville region, The Statesman provides convenient access to major employers including Sumner Regional Medical Center, Amazon, Oracle, GAP and AllianceBernstein, while placing residents minutes from downtown Gallatin, Hendersonville and everyday retail anchored by Kroger and Publix.
Over the past 40 years, Thompson Thrift has invested more than $7.3 billion into local communities nationwide and is known for creating high-quality, thoughtfully designed developments that enhance the neighborhoods they serve.
The Thompson Thrift 2026 Multifamily Development, LP will provide the equity for the development.
