UOVO Opens New Facility in Aspen; Triples Art Storage Capacity Ahead of Aspen Airport’s Planned 2027 Closure

The expanded facility in the Aspen Airport Business Center gives collectors and local businesses a resource during the airport construction planned for 2027

ASPEN, CO, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — UOVO, the trusted stewardship company for exceptional collections, today announced the opening of a new art storage facility in Aspen, located at 404 Aspen Airport Business Center. The new building more than triples storage capacity in Aspen, underscoring UOVO’s long-term commitment to the region by giving private collectors, institutions, and local businesses significantly greater space for secure storage and collection care.

The expansion arrives ahead of a planned eight-month closure of Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE), expected to run from spring through fall 2027 as the airport undergoes construction of a new passenger terminal and runway reconstruction. With many local businesses and property owners already beginning to plan for the extended disruption, UOVO’s expanded facility and expert handlers give clients a secure partner to de-install, move, stage, and store collections, furniture, and equipment well in advance of the closure.

This expansion includes a seamless relocation to the new, larger facility at 404 Aspen Airport Business Center. In addition to existing concierge storage services, the new facility offers customizable private storage rooms. UOVO Aspen will continue to operate in conjunction with UOVO Denver, maintaining a dedicated fleet of specialty art-transport vehicles — part of UOVO’s interstate National Shuttle service — and an in-house crate shop.

UOVO’s service in the region also includes direct support for cultural institutions across Colorado, including the Denver Art Museum, Aspen Art Museum, Clyfford Still Museum, and Anderson Ranch Arts Center.
