A tragic incident in Norwalk has resulted in the death of a 16-year-old boy, identified as Jeffrey Ordonez, after he was struck by a train. The accident occurred on an overpass near Main Street.
According to fire officials, three pedestrians were hit by the train. Ordonez was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other individuals, who were with Ordonez at the time of the incident, have been identified as a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old. They were rescued and subsequently detained by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
