MINATO-KU, TOKYO, JAPAN, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Park Hotel Tokyo (Operated by Shiba Park Hotel Co., Ltd. / Minato-ku, Tokyo / President: Noriyoshi Tanaka), an Art Hotel in Tokyo that proposes a stay filled with art as a hotel like a museum, is holding its autumn exhibition, “Art That Ignites the Senses in the Richness of Autumn Exhibition,” as part of its seasonal exhibition series ART colours, from Monday, August 24 to Sunday, November 15, 2026, in the Atrium on the hotel’s 25th floor. Admission is free and open to all, not only staying guests.
For the 2026 Summer through Autumn ART colours exhibition, Ginza Galleries serves as curator for a third time. Ginza Galleries is a voluntary organization formed by approximately 40 galleries in Ginza, known as Japan’s largest gallery district. This exhibition brings together a diverse range of works — paintings, sculpture and mixed media — gathered from 15 galleries across the summer and autumn presentations.
This exhibition turns the spotlight on the real forms that lie beyond kehai, the unseen presence, through works that carry a sense of charm and humor, and at times an edge of sharpness — drawing visitors closer to the feelings and messages each artist has placed within their work.
One Exhibiting Artist Also Designed a Guest Room at the Hotel
Among the participating artists are U-ku, who creates around the theme of “involuntariness and decision”; Takuma Shiratani, known for three-dimensional works motivated by origami; and Takashi Seto, who develops the techniques of yuzen dyeing into contemporary expression. Takeshi Sato, who created Park Hotel Tokyo’s Artist Room “Midnight Tokyo,” in which the guest room itself becomes a work of art, is also among the exhibitors — offering a chance to notice the connection between the exhibited works and the art found throughout the hotel.
An Encounter With Autumn, in a Hotel Like a Museum
A close look at color, form and material brings into view the intentions and messages each artist has placed within their work. Enjoy the works of a wide range of artists, gathered from the many galleries that make up Ginza Galleries, within the space that is uniquely Park Hotel Tokyo — a place to experience Japanese aesthetics and contemporary art together. An encounter with individual, richly varied works, reminiscent of autumn’s harvest, awaits.
